Hi,

Got back from France three days ago and just now catching up with the time zone.  Today was a good one for me, as my lost luggage caught up with me today. Had a great time visiting my Germany exchange student and his family, then seeing our old French friends and making new ones.  Visit with our old interpreter Ray Mory for a very short time.  The attached newspaper photo was taken while the National Anthem was playing by the Crepy band at the monument honoring the French and Americans who worked and served at the Laon Air Base, this ceremony takes place each year on the Sunday before the 4th of July.   Left to right is Ernie Fazio, Glen Brady, Jerry McAuliffe, Tom Mahoney his wife Natalie, and Eddie Rosier.   Other Americans not shown in photo were Bill Mata, Valerie Lofland and son.
